International Trade - Exports up by 3.3% and imports up by 9.1%

Summary
In the second quarter of 2008, exports grew by 3.3% and imports by 9.1%, comparing to the same period in the previous year (April to June 2007), leading an increase in the deficit of the trade balance.
Comparing with the same period in the last year, imports of Fuels and lubricants rose by 47.0% and exports by 70.3%. In imports, Transport equipment also registered an increase, while in exports one can highlight the increase in Food and beverages.
